Library and Learning Services are pleased to announce that Gouthami Vigneswaran will be taking on a one-year contract position as the FAAD liaison librarian effective May 11th.
Gouthami has gained a wide range of experience in various roles at Sheridan Library & Learning Services. She has provided research help from our service desks at the HMC and Trafalgar campuses and she has also worked with the Library Collections and Acquisitions team. In 2014, Gouthami took on a 3-month instructional role as the Pilon School of Business liaison librarian. In this role, she collaborated with faculty to support them in their teaching, she delivered workshops about library resources tailored to specific assignments and she provided one-on-one in-depth research consultations with students. Recently, Gouthami also had an instructional role with the First Year Library team and contributed to the success of outreach activities such as Exam Jam.
Gouthami has a Master of Library and Information Science from Western University and a Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree from McMaster University.
