I am very pleased to announce that Cindy Barwick has accepted the position of Talent Acquisition Specialist. In this position, Cindy will be responsible for providing Human Resources support to internal clients in the recruitment and selection process; providing support to employee and labour relations processes related to staffing projects and initiatives; providing research expertise and materials; and collaborating with HR colleagues with other departmental projects as necessary. In addition, she will lead and manage large recruiting related process improvement and productivity initiatives.
Cindy worked at HRSDC for over 3 years and she has worked in our HR department for the last 2 years. She started in the HR Assistant, Recruitment coop position where she supported the recruitment team as well as the HRPMs with recruitment and employee/labour relations activities. In her current role, she has provided full-cycle recruitment support to clients across the College.
She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree as well as the Post Graduate HR Management certificate. She is also a CHRP candidate.
